Our story
Humanity is One Family
One Vision Global Hope Foundation began in Nairobi as a response to a simple observation: dignity should never depend on circumstance.
What started as a small group delivering food and clothing to widows in informal settlements has grown into a multi-dimensional foundation — one that meets people with finances, training, equipment, and long-term partnership, not just short-term aid.
Today, our work reaches drought-stricken counties, urban disability networks, and orphan care homes across Kenya, with growing partnerships across East Africa and beyond.

A Vision Rooted in Service
“I believe no one should have to face hardship alone. One Vision Global Hope Foundation exists because I have seen, firsthand, what changes when a community decides that dignity is not negotiable.”
Ben Mbaabu founded the Foundation out of a conviction that relief and empowerment should go hand in hand — that feeding a family today matters as much as equipping them to provide for themselves tomorrow. His vision is a Kenya, and a world, where no widow, orphan, elder, or person with a disability is left to face hardship without a community standing behind them.
Goals for the Foundation
- Build a permanent, self-sustaining home for care and education — anchored by projects like the Global Community Center and Nursing Home.
- Grow the Foundation's reach from Nairobi into every county touched by drought, displacement, or neglect.
- Shift the Foundation's funding model from pure donation to shared enterprise, so beneficiaries become partners, not just recipients.
